These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Branchboardwebsite and online software service (the “Service”) provided by PARALLEL TREE LIMITED(“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Branchboard is an online, self-service digital software subscription that turns text you provide into structured maps (mind maps, decision trees, flowcharts, concept maps, hierarchy trees, comparison boards and presentation slides) and lets you export them as images, SVG, outlines and animated reels. The Service is delivered entirely online. We do not ship any physical product.
2. Not professional services or advice
Branchboard is a thinking and organisation tool. It is not IT consultancy, software development, outsourced project delivery, strategy, legal, financial, medical, career or investment advice, and it does not provide any one-to-one advisory or human consultancy service. Maps, relationships and summaries it generates are aids to your own thinking, not professional opinions. See the AI Disclaimer.
3. Your decisions are your responsibility
Any business, financial, legal, health, academic, career or other decision you make based on a generated map is your own responsibility. For matters in a regulated or professional field, consult a suitably qualified licensed professional.
4. Eligibility and accounts
- The Service is not available to children under 13.
- Users aged 13–17 must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure.
5. Subscriptions, billing and renewals
- Paid plans (Mapper and Studio) are subscriptions billed in US dollars (USD) through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- Plans include a monthly quota of maps. Quotas are service usage allowances, not credits, money or a stored balance, and do not roll over.
- You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.
7. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the content you submit and the maps generated for you, subject to the licence terms in our Content License. The Branchboard software, brand and site remain our property.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change or withdraw features to improve or secure the Service.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. AI output may be incorrect or incomplete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Questions? Contact support@paralleltree.shop. Last updated 14 July 2026.
